What do you call a man who jogs the length of the country collecting one-liners?

A running joke!

Jokes are incredible things. They lift you up, turn a frown upside down and (most importantly for Jon) weigh nothing at all. This fact was vital because he was planning on collecting as many as he could as he ran from Land’s End to John o’Groats.

One sunny summer, he started off in the South West corner of England with a small rucksack on his back and a big smile on his face. His destination was the furthest reaches of Scotland, almost a thousand miles away.

Would he be successful in completing the world’s first joke relay (unverified)? Would the shin splints and blisters ruin his sense of humour? Would he fill the country with Miles of Smiles?
