52 Charity Challenge

I became very aware that I was completing a vast number of ridiculous challenges without actually giving any benefit back to the world at large.

I was also keenly aware that I had no cause that I really could give a pair of owls about. (I couldn't give two hoots. Two hoots? Ahahaha... ahem. Sorry).

So I spent 2016 attempting to complete 52 charity challenges for 52 different charities.

For the Summer Solstice I decided to invite people off of Facebook to join me on a microadventure, for a donation. Bit cheeky, I know. Combining this with all of my profits of the sale of my book I raised £45 for an Epping Forest charity

In August 2016 I scaled the lofty peak of Carrauntoohil, Ireland's highest mountain. I completed this challenge in support of the Duke of Edinburgh Diamond Jubilee. 60 years of kids volunteering in their local community and achieving skill and physical expeditions that they never thought they could.
With no training, mountain bikes that weighed about a ton each and stupid fancy dress outfits (I think we missed the memo about the necessity of being clad in lycra) Harry and I battled the Rat Race Scotland Coast to Coast Race in September 2016.
